Each day, the format of these may look a little bit different. While some days I will explain the chapters, others will be a day to just glance at what this shows about God. Some days might be a deep dive into one verse of the chapter. Overall, I am so excited to grow together!
This chapter just screams God’s goodness to me.
Wisdom, is more than a concept—it's a doorway to experiencing the abundant goodness of God. But its also not just a personal gain; it also becomes a way for others to catch glimpses of God through MY life.
My favorite verse from this chapter is “Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.”
Through wisdom, God graciously invites me to see the world through His eyes. While I can't comprehend all that God knows, wisdom offers me a fragment of His right perspective, instilling hope and trust until we are with Him again in an eternal paradise. God is not trying to hinder us; He is trying to protect us. Living with His wisdom is not only beneficial for us, but it also brings true life. I don't mean health, wealth, and success, but I do mean peace, joy, and fulfillment in any situation.
Something that has completely changed the way I read the Bible is simply asking, “What did this show me about God?” And let me tell you, it has completely helped my faith. Because the more we perceive who God is and His deep affection for us, the more our love for Him grows. I’ve seen as I read the Bible and look for Gods character through every line, it’s helped me to understand him more then ever 🫶🏼
